This painting/mural project was completed in January 2022 for Mattie McCullough Elementary School in Red Deer. The painting is a memorial piece for a student of the school that passed away from Batten Disease. Daniel loved sunflowers, so I was asked to do a painting of a field of sunflowers under the sunrise. The project consists of three 48"x60" canvases and is done in acrylic paint. It was an honour to do this project and to be part of Daniel's legacy at Mattie.
